"School of Thought 2," acrylic on panel, 4" x 4". Unframed, flat 1/8-inch panel. Based on a real-life food model of goldfish crackers on a swoop of aqua-colored frosting. 

I had this idea to venture just a bit outside of my "cookie" scenes with the goldfish crackers. I thought it would be fun to make it look like they were swimming like a school of fish; I then created a separate painting of three goldfish swimming in the opposite direction.

I painted these in large part on my Twitch live streams, and one very thoughtful viewer noted that if you turn the paintings or otherwise place them in different positions, they interact with each other in different ways (sometimes swimming in opposite directions, sometimes in the same direction, sometimes toward each other).
