The Raspberry Sorbet limited-edition ice cream cone art print is based on an original acrylic painting I did of a homemade raspberry sorbet ice cream cone. I actually had never had a raspberry sorbet prior to this, but I wanted to make a painting that was really bright and colorful. Since I almost exclusively use my own photos as references for my paintings, I scoured the internet for colorful frozen dessert recipes and happened upon one for raspberry sorbet, which was basically made from raspberry herbal tea and sugar. I made sure to capture all of the little frosty reflections in the ice, which I think really added to the wonderful detail and realism here. And afterward, it tasted as good as it looks!

Where to Display the Raspberry Sorbet Ice Cream Art Print
While many people automatically think "kitchen" as a display space for food art, my ice cream prints, like the Raspberry Sorbet piece, are pretty versatile. I've seen many clients feature their prints in unconventional spaces: bedrooms, hallways, game rooms, offices and above their entertainment centers. Click here to see an example of a bedroom that features the Raspberry Sorbet print. Pairing or grouping prints together can be a great solution to create a really fun space that looks high-end, yet extremely welcoming. Because most pieces feature a clean white backgrounds, they can really fit just about any space where you need a pop of color, joy and whimsical nostalgia.
