Where to Display Fine Art Prints of Ice Cream, Gingerbread and Other Sweet Treats in Your Home

For food art, like my ice cream cone prints, trompe l'oeil foodscapes or other sweet treats, most people automatically think "kitchen" for a display area. While these art prints can certainly add a pop of color to a kitchen, I've seen many clients hang their original paintings and prints in much more unconventional spaces, and they look absolutely fabulous. 

I intentionally paint most of my food pieces, like the ice cream cones and trompe l'oeil cookie landscapes, to have stark white backgrounds so they are clean, contemporary and versatile enough to use anywhere where you need to add some joy and whimsy. That usually means your wall color is irrelevant. When properly framed, these realistic-looking, brightly colored prints will work in just about any space.

I love when clients tell me that they are happy every time they pass by my work on their walls, and so I would encourage you to think outside-the-box when it comes to hanging your art prints. Find spaces that need joy, color and magic, and fill them in so you can have happy art everywhere you go in your home.
